USP/USAL Program

This is an International Cooperation Agreement between the University of São Paulo (USP) and the Universidad de Salamanca (USAL) designed to foster academic cooperation in all areas of knowledge in these institutions and promote the Exchange of professors/researchers, post-graduate students to form partnerships and develop joint research projects.

At USP, the USP/USAL program is conducted by the Provost’s Offices for Research and Post-Graduation Studies and the Provost’s Office for International Cooperation.

At USAL, the program will be conducted by the Provost’s Office for Research and the Center for Brazilian Studies.

Funding will be granted to visits of USAL missions to USP and Brazilian missions to USAL.

Each university is responsible for their researcher’s tickets and accommodations expenses.

The Program’s aim is to establish or invigorate Spanish-Brazilian scientific exchange.

Selected projects will be financed for the items mentioned above for a period of two years, which may be extended for two years, subject to approval by both the Spanish and Brazilian committees.
